Due to Covid-19 we’d been scouting virtually for eight months! But, this past month we were able to come together safely to fulfill a requirement for the activity badge – an obstacle course!!!!
Starting with balance beams, each participant jumped from stepping stone to stepping stone, weaved through cones, balanced a book on their heads, threw balls in a bucket, crawled through a tunnel, and ended with the ultimate ninja challenge and through the finish line. Once everyone had a turn we took a hike down into the creek, threw rocks into the water, identified poison ivy and ended the field day with more games and fun on the obstacle course.
It was awesome and we had the best time with our scouts!!!!
