Camp Happy Hollow was home to the 3rd Annual Texas Hullaballo, a three day camp event filled with activities for scouts from all over Texas. Scouts enjoyed a range of topics like knife safety, building campfires, orienteering, leather working, first aid, leave no trace principles, and edible plants just to name a few!

Hullaballoo 2019 was a special event for us since we got to hand out our group neckers and wear them for the first time! Alek, our first official otter, climbed trees, made s’mores, and met so many new friends! Our Rovers in attendance lead workshops and enjoyed the camp life.

Rover Judy and Rover Pete had the honor of participating in the opening ceremony and Alek made us proud when he folded the flag at the closing ceremony. Having his whole family attend and sign up as 13th scout members makes it even more special.

We also got to see some familiar faces! Some of our BTC buddies were also our campsite mates! It was nice to be able to meet their scout families and hang out again. Needless to say, we are already pumped for Hullaballoo 2020 and we hope to see ya’ll at camp!
